Ooh La La Photography bio picture

Welcome to my blog!

Here you will find some sneak peeks from recent photosessions or just some fun posts and pictures of me and my family.  

I'm an on location photographer based out of Chestermere, Alberta serving Calgary, Alberta and surrounding areas.  I specialize in maternity, newborn, children, families and  Weddings. My sister and I photograph Weddings together and we are now booking Weddings in Winnipeg, Manitoba as well.  You can check out our work at oohlalaweddings.ca

I am so passionate about photography, when my baby girl was born almost three years ago I wanted to capture every second of her life.  This is when my camera became more like another limb for me.  Soon after my sister got engaged and they had asked me to do their engagement photos and that is when I actually realized how much I LOVE photography, and everything basically has just taken off from there.  I have learned so much in the last 3 years but I know there is so much more I want to learn.

Thanks to my amazing husband Jamie, my friends and family for all the love and support and to my two little girls who inspire me everyday.

SUCH a sweet sweet beautiful family, I really enjoyed photographing them…they went with the “you’ve got it all” package so we went to two different locations, a few different outfit changes and I got a variety of awesome shots for them which I’ll be creating an album from.  I love this package because it allows me to be really creative from the beginning….starting off with either an email or phone consultation just finding out exactly what their style was, what they were looking for etc. also deciding on a few props we could use for the shoot and then actually photographing them and just having fun not having to rush, snacking in between, catching those “moments” and capturing all the details and then…..the editing I enjoy just as much as all the rest as well as putting an album together in the end.  All I have to say is I love love LOVE what I do and I love my clients!  

Thank you so much Neil & Nicole, I had a blast, your kids were GREAT and way too cute!!!  And thank you for the baby gift : D  It was really sweet of you….I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!   I could have posted a ton more, there were a lot of  favorites from this session ; D
