Here you will find some sneak peeks from recent photosessions or just some fun posts and pictures of me and my family.

I'm an on location photographer based out of Chestermere, Alberta serving Calgary, Alberta and surrounding areas. I specialize in maternity, newborn, children, families and Weddings. My sister and I photograph Weddings together and we are now booking Weddings in Winnipeg, Manitoba as well. You can check out our work at oohlalaweddings.ca

I am so passionate about photography, when my baby girl was born almost three years ago I wanted to capture every second of her life. This is when my camera became more like another limb for me. Soon after my sister got engaged and they had asked me to do their engagement photos and that is when I actually realized how much I LOVE photography, and everything basically has just taken off from there. I have learned so much in the last 3 years but I know there is so much more I want to learn.

Thanks to my amazing husband Jamie, my friends and family for all the love and support and to my two little girls who inspire me everyday.

Connor. Itty-bitty

Meet Connor….he really amazed me today! I’ve never experienced a baby that slept the WHOLE time I was there. I think we got some real great shots and his older sister Sara whom you may recognize from previous shoots did such a great job and she’s only TWO! Also…Happy 2nd Birthday Sara I got some shots of this little monkey as well their down at the end but she is such a sweetheart…she’s always reminded me of my own Isabella! Quick at learning, small & petite and BUSY! lol : D

Enjoy the sneak peek Tom & Chrissy is was so nice seeing you guys again, it was so great to meet your little guy as well.

It’s amazing Claire is already one and a whole year has gone by since I had done her newborn photoshoot and isn’t she a gorgeous little girl? It was great photographing your little girl again and so nice to see you guys and catch up…enjoy your sneak peek!

ALSO….I will probably mention this in the next couple of postings but I am no longer taking bookings until August since I am expecting for the end of June and am completely booked up until then. I will be taking a few bookings starting mid August but if you would like to book a summer session, my sister Kristen Rahn will be spending a month in Calgary and she will be booking photoshoots from July 15-August 15. She is one talented girl and is looking to expand her portfolio and will be doing photoshoots for a flat rate of $140….what a deal!!!! This includes 1-2 hours and 30+ photos retouched & edited on disc for you to do what you’d like with. Happy Birthday Danica!

We celebrated Dani’s 2nd birthday this weekend. I love all the excitement of a two year old on their birthday! And the excitement of a two year old GOING to a birthday (Isabella)…it’s all about the cake!!!! Anyways it was a great time, enjoy the few pictures! I’ll call you for a coffee/playdate soon Mel!
